Erik Florip is a great person for follow on Instagram. @floriptoolworks shows how he makes some of his wonderful tools. Not only is the imagery good, each picture is part of a story to complete a tool. The combination of machining, CNC, and hand work details are apparent when looking at each thing he makes. The precision in the movement of the marking gauges is amazing. At the Great Lakes Woodworking Festival in Adrian, MI, Erik showed off some of the tools he made. The highlight was the short demonstration and question and answer session he did regarding saw sharpening. Erik made at least one believer in saw sharpening. The Christmas list just got longer.
